Highlights
- •Parents of children with chronic pain show significantly higher levels of child- and self-oriented perceived injustice in relation to their child's pain than do parents of healthy children.
- •The IEQ-Pc and IEQ-Ps do not seem to fully capture the construct of parental child- and self-oriented injustice perceptions in relation to their child's pain.
- •Both measures do show associations with child pain-related functioning.
